Terms of Service
Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) & Privacy Summary
Your Intellectual Property is Safe with Us.
This agreement ensures that all proprietary information shared with Maida Studio remains strictly confidential.
- Confidentiality Commitment Maida Studio shall not disclose, share, or sell any Client data to third parties without prior written consent. This includes, but is not limited to: 2D/3D CAD files, sketches, technical specifications, company data, and manufacturing techniques.
- Ownership of Intellectual Property The Client retains full and exclusive ownership of all designs and intellectual property. Maida Studio acts solely as a technical service provider to facilitate the realization of these designs.
- Data Security & Access Information is restricted to Maida Studio personnel directly involved in the project. All team members are bound by internal confidentiality agreements. Upon formal request, Maida Studio will permanently delete all project-related digital assets from our servers after the final delivery.
- Portfolio Rights Maida Studio may only use project imagery (renders) for marketing or portfolio purposes after the product has been officially launched by the Client to the public, or with explicit written permission.
Revision Policy
Specific to Technical Sampling & Drafting Services
At Maida Studio, we recognize that physical sampling is a dynamic process. Our policy ensures your design transitions smoothly from digital to physical:
- Post-Sampling Adjustments (Included): Following the creation of the first physical prototype, the Client is entitled to one (1) round of technical revisions at no extra cost. This includes minor adjustments to tolerances, hardware specifications, or joinery refinements based on workshop feedback.
- Timeframe: Requests for post-sampling revisions must be submitted within 30 days of file delivery or 14 days after the physical sample is completed.
- Design Changes vs. Technical Revisions: Modifications that alter the core aesthetic, fundamental shape, or primary function of the product after the final drafting phase are considered “Design Changes.” These will be quoted separately based on complexity.
- Technical Errors: Any discrepancies between the Client’s initial instructions and the delivered files will be corrected by Maida Studio immediately and free of charge.
